The cmp triton cable gland provides reduced installation time cost and risk for termination of all wire armoured or braided cables installed in explosive atmospheres or hazardous areas where atex cable glands are required for the following cable termination applications. Type re 2x st yv fl and type re 2x st yswby fl. For data communication we have manufactured a unique cat5e cable. The cmp products range of explosive atmosphere cable glands is certified to the latest international technical standards and contains the flagship gland triton.

The atex cat5e is constructed to pass the restricted breathing test. The amphe ex tm and star line ex connector series are atex and iecex approved for zone 1 rated europe iecex 60079 making them ideal for use in hazardous and potentially explosive environments such as those associated with oil and gas exploration petrochemical plants and fuel storage sites. Solutions are available with 2 16 contacts on 5 0mm 5 08mm and 7 62mm pitches and screw spring or push in connections and are compatible with wave soldering processes. Atex 137 focuses on the workplace which has to adhere to the minimum requirements for improving safety and health protection of workers in hazardous areas. Atex 95 focuses on equipment and protective systems intended for use in hazardous areas.
